Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Where are you based?
A. We are based in Cornwall but undertake projects all over the UK.

Q. Are there any other kitchen images to view?
A. Yes please go to our Pinterest page to see more of our creations or check out our portfolio page.

Q. What are your kitchens made from?
A. Our kitchen carcasses are constructed using oak veneered plywood or birch/standard plywood. The framework, legs and doors are made using tulip wood. We also use reclaimed timber on some of our kitchens.

Q. Do you use soft-close systems?
A. Yes all our kitchens are built using Blum Motion or Grass soft-close runners for the drawers.

Q. What paint do you use?
A. We use Annie Sloane or Farrow & Ball paints.

Q. How long does it take to build a kitchen?
A. It takes approx. 4 to 5 weeks from start to finish.

Q. Do you make any other furniture?
A. Yes we produce bespoke furniture for all rooms of the house. You can see examples on Pinterest. If you have a particular project in mind please get in touch.

Q. How long does it take to create a concrete worktop?
A. It takes approx. one month from start to finish but this does depend on the curing time.

Q. Are your concrete worktops built on-site?
A. Yes our worktops are built seamlessly in-situ on top of the kitchen cabinets.

Q. What makes your concrete worktops different?
A. Because our worktops are cast in-situ it means we can produce a seamless and join free surface. We are not constricted by size and weight. Our concrete worktops are also hand burnished which gives them a unique appearance. Most concrete worktop suppliers cast their tops off site in pieces which means you will have joins in your worktop. The look and finish is also very generic and cold with this method.

Q. Do you supply reclaimed taps etc.?
A. Yes we often source vintage taps for clients and also create our own.
